My background
I have been a graphic designer for over 20 years. I’ve also studied fine art, illustration, painting, sculpture, photography, and interior design. Before founding Linden Graphics I worked as a graphic designer in various sectors, including marketing (Marketforce Advertising Agency), the arts (Australian National Gallery), education (Australian National University), the public service (Department of Agriculture, where I was the senior designer and studio manager of the design studio), as well as other private and public design studios.
My approach
Graphic design expertise is obviously extremely important when you select a designer, but what is equally important is choosing a designer who you can have a great working relationship with – this is of utmost importance to me. With linden graphics my aim is to ensure that each one of my clients feels respected, valued and supported throughout the design process. I like to think that I don't just make the process stress free, I make it enjoyable.
My designs
I'm often asked why I don't have a design niche, and the answer is – I love the diversity of graphic design too much! If you read 'my background' above, and if you have a look at
my designs, you'll see that I have a very wide range of design background and expertise. One of the aspects I love so much about my graphic design work is the variety, one day I might be designing a large corporate report, the next day I could be developing the branding for a small business, and the next perhaps I'm designing the packaging of a product. This diversity of design work has really enriched my creativity and agility as a graphic designer, and means I always bring a fresh perspective to each new design project.
